1 day memory lost

has anyone suffering short term memory lost for one day? what i meant is that you woke up in the morning doing all the daily stuffs like usual good day but somehow after that you seemed to be forgotten about whether you had your breakfast or not?. ok, all of you must be wondering now who is the one i mentioned.

sad to say, it's my father and it happened last week. my father suffered short term memory lost for an incredible one day. he had forgotten everything like a secret agent being erased his memory for new missions. my mum told me it was serious because he seemed to forget about what he did in the last seconds, minutes and hours. i began to worry at that time considering it was so unexpected and i bet you would only see this much often in hk dramas. my conclusion was my father should be suffered from alzheimer which turned him into a lost person but i excluded this because to my knowledge it wont happen overnight just like that.

my father was in denial that he forgot many things he did that day and as time goes by, he finally realized the truth and even joked to me and said "dont know whether i really have that alzheimer disease or not"....my respond was "hahahaha, it can't be lah"..."don't worry, go see doctor and make appoinment for neurology specialist". "forget anything also nevermind, just don't forget that you still have 2sons ah"....he laughed out loud and said..."wont lah"

conversation stopped at 6:45:20pm and i was on my way back home in a bus expecting discussion with my brother later regarding this matter. the next morning i called my mum and got to know that dr.ong (not hanyoung) had made appointment for neurologist in sabah and my father was going to do some sort of MRI or brain scanning. i talked to my father and he told me that he managed to remember everything except what happened yesterday. it's weird though but the result of the MRI was positive.his brain and spinal cords are normal brushing out the possibility of alzheimer disease and minor strokes. the neurologist said it's normal for old people to have this short term memory lost and told us not to worry and some more he/she said "there is no scientific explanation regarding this yet". sounds weird but it's officially END. my father is ok now.
